Technology is a powerful tool for dynamic, engaging learning. As a STEM Pathways high school, ASE has a 1:1 student to netbook computer ratio - all of our students are issued a netbook for use at school and at home.
Students and their parent(s) attend a joint training session to learn netbook features, guidelines for use, effective parent monitoring of netbook use at home, and care and maintenance of the netbook.
Parents and students sign an Acceptable Use Agreement that allows students to take netbooks home.
Currently, technology is embedded in all content areas. As we move toward full implementation of the Common Core and our STEM Pathways, ASE students will graduate technologically advanced and sophisticated young adults.
