Happy Pi Day!!!!

Pi has been calculated to over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point. As an irrational and transcendental number, it will continue infinitely without repetition or pattern. While only a handful of digits are needed for typical calculations, Pi’s infinite nature makes it a fun challenge to memorize, and to computationally calculate more and more digits.

Although the ratio has been around for about 4,000 years, the symbol just turned 300 years old in 2006. The symbol for pi was first used in 1706 by a Welsh man, William Jones, and was made popular after Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler adopted its use in 1737
